11 Manhattan Skyline

Probably the most photographed site in the City. Adjectives don't do it justice.

Even better pics here.

E update

Snoozing while Uncle Paul looks at plates made of compressed garbage by DESU Design.

Sleeping, again.

Ev's last visit

At Yankee stadium to see the Mariners. They lost. Don't ask.

At the Cloisters. I'd been there with Mr. Miller already, but it was much prettier in the Spring, especially the herb gardens.

At a watering hole in Washington Square Park before walking around Greenwich Village where Ev bought a killer little hat from a street vendor.

Playing catch-up

I'm trying to catch-up on the New York luvin' posts. I really meant to post everyday this month. Promise. But there's a tension, I've discovered in these final days, between musing electronically about New York and actually enjoying it. Last weekend was devoted to the enjoying part.

On Saturday, I went on a walking tour of five row homes in Brooklyn Heights. More to come on that in a future post. Then on Sunday, we enjoyed church in the morning and BKLYN Designs in the afternoon. Below at center, Uncle Paul carries Evangeline between exhibit halls. (Click here for more pictures of the event.) Afterwards, Paul, Keith, Evangeline and I traipsed down to a Thai place on Smith Street to celebrate Mother's Day.
